my favourite things/ God's grace is always kind

This was an end of the year posting that ended up 'not here' but grace must always be shared~ His grace is always sufficient~ peace to all my beloveds~ so precious to Him you are, and to me.

God’s grace is always kind
it is life that is hard
and though so often joyous
life has a way of pulling the carpet right out from under us
at times
we just don’t understand God
but
God’s grace is always kind
in that hard spot
when life seems to just swallow us
and we would shout out at Him
and say Why God
Why me God
Why all this pain
or all this joy
or all this sorrow
God’s grace is always kind
and comes to us
and puts its arms around us
holds us up
binds up our woundedness
waits with us
for healing
or gives us better
God’s grace is always kind
don’t ever think there is not enough
don’t ever think you are not worthy
that He is blind and does not see
or understand
your depths
of agony
God’s grace is always kind
its purpose is life
and that abundantly
in our hearts
in our minds
in our whole beings
not just for now
but for Always
this grace
has tasted life’s agonies
and joys
its victories
and triumphs
it is God’s grace that holds us
when all is lost
when we are found
Be still and let it hold you
rest in its embrace
you are His Beloved
let His Grace show you
the kindness of God
——————-
beloved let us love one another
for love is of God
and he that loveth not
knoweth not God
~I John 4:7,8
——————-
Greater love hath not man than this
that he lay down his life for his friends
~John 15:13
——————-
Love is patient,
love is kind
and is not jealous;
love does not brag
and is not arrogant,
does not act unbecomingly;
it does not seek its own,
is not provoked,
does not take into account a wrong suffered,
does not rejoice in unrighteousness,
but rejoices with the truth;
bears all things,
believes all things,
hopes all things,
endures all things.
Love never fails…
~But now abide these three; faith, hope, love,
but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7,13
————————————
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.~Romans 8:38-39

  1. So many grace moments captured in your photos and words. Love the phrase " when all is lost and we are found" . . . been there, nothing compares with being found by Him.

I thought to myself, "This is like a year-in-review." and then you said this was to be a year's end post. Ah, and so it was, a year-in-review. I loved every minute of it and how it takes one on the roller coaster of life and affirms that grace is always there no matter where we are. I picture you in the barn, harmonica in hand, among dogs and hay-crunchers. What makes great prose is the pictures it creates in the reader's mind's eye. The pictures you create are complete with crunching and harmonious sound. They exude the sweet aroma of hay and softness of dog fur. They let the viewer see the misty breath of living creatures on a cold night and make one have to squint as she looks up at the twinkling diamonds in the clear night sky. The viewer can feel the warmth of a table set and a cat sleeping nearby on one of the chairs. Your hearts in the snow tattle that you love this life, this place, this calling to write. I saw replicas of my cards in the shop window. I smiled big. Hugs, Susan, to you and Eduardo (peering behind the fence).

    1. My friend, I was so hoping you might come by... I know you understand so much of my heart and I love to know you have come close... funny... to never have met someone in the flesh, and yet to know them...
It is kind of like that with our Lord isn't it. We long for that great and glorious day when we will see Him and each other face to face!
Blessings dear friend, from afar yet not so far

  4. Your posts in my Plum Cottage Creations blog were just posted, you wrote them in January of this year. Blogger seems to be weird today, as I'm only getting one blog update at a time, not the list like I usually see every day.

Anyway, thank you for visiting my blog and your kind comments. I stopped posting on that blog because another lady uses Plum Cottage and she got quite upset that I was using that. I do live in a little Plum colored Cottage and loved the name and I still call our cottage 'Plum Cottage'.

    My main blog is: http://flowerladysmusings.blogspot.com/

You have some wonderful photos, just beautiful, but I think the one that moved me was your cat lying on the open Bible. I wonder what scripture was there.

Have a lovely summer. It looks like you live in the frigid north lands.
