I will enter His gates with Thanksgiving in my heart

today we awoke with the sunshine
shared an awesome breakfast together
put in a window
in the house love built
we went to church
with joy in our hearts
and came back fuller
~overflowing~
we shared Bobbie's favourite meal
spaghettis
a siesta
and then sawed wood
beautiful 2X6's
all around us Your beauty
golden leaves dancing to the earth
warm sun to dry our puddles
enough laughter to call our cup full
strength to bake a cake for a neighbour
and hotsauce enough for the winter
another meal shared
and all the while thankful
that we have been so blessed
enough to give away
always enough
this overflowing of Your good gifts
ever thankful

ReplyDeleteeach apple a prayer... picking them one of my favourite things each year... I think part of that 'is' the blue sky and warm Autumn sunshine... no bugs and plenty of friendly people walking by I can befriend and share 'an apple' or 'many' with... love it!
